"The Nazis victimized some people for what they did, some for what they refused to do, some for what they were, and some for the fact that they were."
-John Conway

This is what the Nazis did.  The Jews were a different group of people and Hitler made sure that they were hated for what they did, what they didn't do, what they were, and for the fact that they just were.  This quote is truthful in every sense of that word.  It saws exactly why the Jews were hated and what people thought was wrong with them.
The Jews were targeted just because of the fact that they were "different" that they weren't the same as everyone else.  Hitler and the Nazis were discriminating against individuality.  The Jews weren't aloud to be who they were.
The Nazis hated what the Jews did.  They hated what the Jews wouldn't do.  They hated them because they were Jews.  And they hated them just because they were alive.  It wasn't just the Jews though, it was many other groups of people but there were more Jews than the others because they were a larger group of people.
Genocide is just a type of bullying that was taken too far.  They were just picking on the people that were smaller than them just because they could and because they were bigger.  The Holocaust is probably one of the most memorable genocides ever committed but there are many more.  There are many more because no one has stopped it.  There is genocide today that we need to stop.  Now.
